In 2019, medPhoton attended the North American Spine Society (NASS) and American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) conferences in Chicago, USA.
At ASTRO, the world’s most important event for radiation oncology, medPhoton once again demonstrated products, image guidance solutions for use cases in particle therapy. Shortly afterwards, Brainlab hosted an exclusive by invitation-only sneak preview event at the historic landmark Wrigley building, down town Michigan Avenue, in which we proudly unveiled our new robotic imaging ring system for applications in Brachytherapy and/or IORT.
At NASS, the largest conference and exhibition on spine surgery in the USA, the launch of our mobile CBCT product Loop-X became the most talked-about event, upon the special unveiling display of our newest member of family of imaging rings. This unit has been developed in close collaboration with our partner Brainlab, and will open new markets in the surgical field for medPhoton.
